How do I apply for a position? Please submit an online resumé to the Hillcrest Bank Careers Webpage. View current job opportunities by clicking on the “Current Opportunities” link and then selecting “Search”. Once a current job opportunity has been selected, click “Apply” to complete your online resumé.
Can I fax, mail or e-mail a resumé or application? No. Hillcrest Bank does not accept resumés or applications via fax, mail, or e-mail. Resumés can only be submitted through the Hillcrest Bank Careers Webpage. Resumés or applications received via fax, mail, or e-mail will not be considered.
Why is there a self identification survey? Federal laws require Hillcrest Bank to request certain demographic information from individuals who express an interest in employment. The Bank submits reports to the government containing this information. In order to obtain accurate information and comply with legal obligations, your voluntary cooperation in completing the Self Identification Survey is greatly appreciated.
How can I apply if I have a disability that prevents me from being able to use a computer? If you have such a disability, you may have someone assist you in completing an online resumé. See “How can I submit an online resumé if I don’t have access to a computer?” for more information regarding locations.
What if I don’t have an e-mail address? The Hillcrest Bank Careers Webpage has a link to obtain a free e-mail address.
Can I submit my resumé without applying for a specific position? No, Hillcrest bank only accepts resumés for current job opportunities. Please visit the Hillcrest Bank Careers Webpage often for current list of job opportunities as they become available.
What if I’m interested in more than one current job opportunity? Once you have completed and submitted the initial online resumé, you can submit it to any current job opportunity.
How do update my online resumé? Update your online resumé by logging in to the Hillcrest Bank Careers Webpage and selecting the “Return to Profile” link.
How can I apply if I don’t have access to a computer? Soon, computer kiosks will be available at select branch locations to submit an online resumé. Computers with free Internet access are also available at your local public libraries.
Do I have to reenter my online resumé every time I want to be considered for a current job opportunity? No. Once you have completed and submitted the initial online resumé, you can submit it to any current job opportunity.
Will I be contacted after submitting my online resumé? The Hillcrest Bank Human Resources Department will contact only individuals that best meet the selection criteria for further consideration. Initial communication and status updates will be made via e-mail.
How long will my online resumé be active? Resumés are considered in active status while the position you have applied to is open. See “What if I’m interested in more than one current job opportunity?” above for information on how to apply for a different opportunity.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your resumé. You can also login and view a list of all positions for which you have submitted your resumé.
What background checks are required for employment with Hillcrest Bank? The following pre-employment checks are required for the current job opportunity you applied for:
- Criminal Background Check
- Verifications of information provided on candidate’s profile, resumé and application
- Employment History
- Post-Offer Drug Test
- Credit History Check
Will my personal credit history be taken into consideration? Yes, but only during the final stages of the selection process. Hillcrest Bank will procure one or more consumer reports on you as part of the process of considering your candidacy as an employee. In the event that information from the report is utilized in whole or in part in making an adverse decision with regard to your potential employment, before making the adverse decision, Hillcrest Bank will provide you with a copy of the consumer report and a description in writing of your rights under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.
